Marine Equipment Servicing
Holdfast Marine can service and assist in the replacement of most types of fenders to commercial vessels and berthing areas with our crane barge.
The servicing of yacht racing marks for yacht clubs with accurate placement utilising our Differential GPS we can repair damaged marks and renew signwriting.
We can carry out repairs to marinas such as replacing decking, capping and header beams and repair water services as well.
On water crane use
Holdfast Marine also offer removal of masts, motors and some heavy equipment from small to medium sized vessels when still in water. This service can save you the cost of slipping the vessel and hiring an onshore crane.
Barge Hire
The hire of our self propelled Holdfast Barge as a stable working platform for the painting of large vessels.
Smaller floating punts can also be hired to do similar work.

- 10 metres long 5.8 metres wide 1.2 metres draft at stern (leg down)
- Working deck forward of wheel house
- 5.8 metres long x 5.8 metres wide
- 4.0 metres clearance from cabin to crane
- ''Moon pool'' in centre of deck if needed
- 2.4 metres from side of deck to crane pod on both sides.
